"The Boston Pops has just released our third album on our own label, and the eleventh album I've had the honor to make with these great musicians. It is called "Oscar and Tony," and it is a tribute to the best music ever written for the American stage and screen. We only recorded the best: music from shows that won "Best Musical" in the Tonys or both "Best Picture" and "Best Score" in the Academy Awards. The result was just great...wonderful music, wonderfully played.
For classic movie buffs, there is music from Lawrence of Arabia, Ben Hur, and Around The World in Eighty Days, extending to the present day in scores such as Titanic, The Return of the King and Schindler's List.
