“All of us have a lump in our throat when we do this concert. It does give you pause and makes you count your blessings and makes you hope for quick recovery for these kids,” Lockhart said.
Dozens of children, parents and hospital staff enjoyed listening to the holiday Christmas classics. “It’s truly an unforgettable experience for us it truly lifts their spirits and makes them feel the holiday is not totally destroyed by being sick in the hospital,” Boston Children’s Hospital CEO Sandra Fenwick said.
One of the highlights was former New England Patriot Troy Brown who read, T’was The Night Before Christmas. “It’s great to be able to come and read a great story and it makes me appreciate Christmas,” Troy said.
