Be a part of Boston Pops history as we celebrate the legacy of our Laureate Conductor, John Williams. This is your chance to hear not just the great classics, but the rarities like Goodbye, Mr. Chips and  Towering Inferno. This concert will include over 55 years of material from John’s six decades as a film composer and will be recorded for a CD release in the spring.

Ben Folds is widely regarded as one of the major music influencers of our generation. His genre-bending musical works include pop albums as frontman for Ben Folds Five, multiple solo rocks hits, music for film and TV as well as a role as a judge on NBC’s The Sing-Off. He joins the Boston Pops for the first time since 2012 to perform his hits and the Boston premiere of his critically acclaimed Concerto for Piano and Orchestra.

Triple-threat Leslie Odom, Jr. is best known for originating the Tony-winning role of Aaron Burr in the original cast of Broadway’s Hamilton, and for his role in the TV series Smash. His recent self-titled album hit #1 on the Billboard Jazz chart. This concert will also feature the winners of the Fidelity Investments Young Artists Competition.
